STEFAN KLAUS has been an integral part of the team since 2011 – shortly after the opening of the Motto am Fluss. Since 2015 restaurant manager, he has now taken over the responsibility as operations manager of the entire Motto am Fluss. He also supports Martin Steiner in the operational management. Born in Bavaria, he studied business and economics at the Vienna University of Business and Economics and expanded his management skills on the international market during a study abroad in Atlanta, USA.
MARTIN STEINER leads a team of 25 waiters and barmen and has been responsible for the warm welcome and very personal treatment of all the guests at Motto Restaurant since the first days. Born in the famous wine region of Krems in lower Austria, he gained a profound education as a hospitality expert there and worked in regional and international top restaurants as the Landhaus Bacher in Lower Austria or with star cooks like Gerhard Schwaiger at the Tristan in Mallorca, Spain with Nobu Matsuhisa at the Boutique Hotel Belvedere at Mykonos. Today he is adding the extra portion of professionality, charme and warmth at the Motto am Fluss restaurant.
CIGDEM ARTAR has been part of our motto on the river family since 2017 and has been running our café with great dedication ever since. She not only takes care of the well-being of the guests, but also that of the team. Her enthusiasm is the driving force behind her team’s commitment and good mood. This also creates harmony between guests and employees. Due to her many years of professional experience, she brings not only high professionalism but also great passion to the motto am Fluss and is there every day with heart and soul.
